This isn’t factually a pic of Bourbon Street, but is a compilation of several “Mardi Gras” images. Commissioned for the restaurant, Bourbon Street in Cedar Falls, Iowa (www.barmuda.com/bourbon)
Lord, this makes me want to get on a plane and get my arse over there! I don’t know which part of it to dive into first….so very rich and alive.
thank you, Bell! good to hear from you. I wish a picture could accurately portray these. at 2meters high they’re very imposing in person. you feel like an observer standing on your own balcony watching the action. Cheers rob

I love this pic, fantastic depiction of wider angle and close-up shots, while the compact frames add to the crowded, claustrophobic effect. Love your work :)
It was a daunting task that took me 3months to complete. I loved and hated these paintings. They look great in their new home.
Love this, very dramatic and has a celebratory feel.
Thank you, Rachael! I can’t wait to work this big again. I’m hoping to get a good location shot of their installation so viewers can get the scale. They really draw you in.
