Dissonance clangs, a cacophonous dischord inside your
head, sets heavy chimes spinning like tonnes of lead,
An unguided universe
Endlessly unravelling
Adrift in a world of
Change and transformation
Perilously on the edge
Surrender yourself
And fall into the chaos
At the centre of gravity
Winter’s on it’s way,
The Autumn breeze beckons surrender,
Summer leaves,
Detach from trees,
So falls each leaf,
In golden splendour.
Inside this sleek and pointed head,
My eyes are luminous green,
They’re watching every move you make,
They’re accurate and keen
A beach in summer,
Sand is warm,
The waves roll in to meet the shore,
Here boats stacked high are waiting for,
Boys and girls whose arms are full,
Of reels and bait and fishing line
