About BronReid

Although I am still a babe in the woods when it comes to the technical side, I have loved photography most of my life, and it’s wonderful to get that occasional great shot I feel very proud of, for the hundreds of just ‘nice’ ones. I get quite excited at the prospect of visiting some places these days because of the great photos I just might get, if I’m lucky.

wow Bron I had to take a double look at this house as my friend in Kinglake has one very very similar….will put it up for you to see…her house with stood the fires last year…

  • I shall check it out (I promise this one is in Chiltern, LOL). We drove up past the burnt out forests of Kinglake earlier this year and it was heartbreaking to see the impact even some 16 months later as it was at the time, but wonderful to see how much regrowth of ferns and foliage on the trunks of trees was battling its way back, just amazing. As you said, Mother Nature has her ways.

you will be double taking also Bron..
my last trip up the mountain was when it snowed just recently Beautiful sight…

  • snow beautifies even the harshest views, in my experience, Chris, and Dutch friends I just visited said they love the snow in winter because of how it softens everything after all the leaves have departed, a nice philosophy. Off for that cuppa and let me know when you have found your comparison photo! Just put it in a bubble mail if you don’t want to display it.
