As found on a street in Hobarts central business district. I am not a huge fan of Ford Australia vehicles; however metallic blue early Falcon utilities do not grow on trees, so I thought it worthy of a frame of Fujifilm Acros 100 black and white film, which was what I had with me at the time.

Captured with a 1955 Rolleiflex 2.8C medium format twin lens reflex on FujiFilm Neopan Acros 100 black and white roll film. This particular Rolleiflex is fitted with a Schneider Xenotar 80mm f/2.8 taking lens. Film processed in ILFORD ID-11 developer and fixed with ILFORD Rapid Fixer. Cropped to 3:2 ratio from 6×6 film frame.

    Gotta love an early Falc!
Beautiful XM ute, around 1964 vintage.
Not as pure in the styling as the original XK, and I think the replacement for 1965, the XP looked even better, but a beautiful piece of tin nonetheless!
    Damn Acros is nice!

  • Thanks Greg, they aren’t a bad looking thing, appreciate the comment mate!

Brett, Fantastic detail and angle on this. I remember those cars being everywhere when I was a kid.
