Government House—Hobart, Tasmania by

I took this photo in the grounds of Government House, Hobart in February this year when Tasmania’s Vice-Regal residence was open to the public, in recognition of the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary of the reign of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Second.

It was taken with my Zeiss Ikon Contaflex S 35mm single lens reflex. The Contaflex was fitted with a magazine back loaded with Kodak Tri-X Pan black and white film, which I subsequently developed in ILFORD ID-11 developer.

Tasmanian Brett Rogers captures landscape, cityscape, and architectural photographs in and around his home town of Hobart. He also provides quality black and white film processing services and tuition in traditional film photography.

    Lovely framing Brett.

  • Thanks so much, Tony. I had a few other photogs shooting over my shoulder, after I had set this one up, (had the camera on a tripod at low level), which suggested it might be a pleasing image!
