Sunflower, Royal Tasmanian Botanical Gardens by

The RTBG produced a spectacularly nice crop of sunflowers in Summer 2010. This is one of them.

This shot is rather special to me. It was photographed on a rare, cold-stored roll of Fuji’s original Velvia RVP, discontinued several years ago (they have since released Velvia 50 RVP 50 as a replacement). Captured with Hasselblad 500C/M and Zeiss 80mm f/2.8 Planar @ f 2.8. Tripod, cable, mirror pre-release, for maximum sharpness.
