Hobart’s Victoria Dock one morning.
I couldn’t recall the time I took this photograph (I rarely keep notes of my exposures). However after scanning the frame of film, I was easily able to read it on the GPO clock in the distance: 7am exactly.
Medium format Provia 100F has amazing resolution: the jpeg preview you are viewing barely scratches the surface of the original.
Camera: Hasselblad 500C/M medium format SLR
Lens: Carl Zeiss 40mm f/4 Distagon prime wide angle lens
Film: Fujifilm Provia 100F medium format transparency
Other Information Tripod, mirror lockup and cable release used. Commercial E-6 development process. Cropped to 3:2 ratio from 6×6 film frame.
The angle of view of the Zeiss 40mm Distagon for the Hasselblad is approximately equal to a 25mm lens in the 35mm format.
