A photo from my archives made in early 2011 during a visit to Hobart’s famous Salamanca Market.
Set between the historic buildings and the lawns adjacent to tree-lined Salamanca Place, the Saturday market is always an interesting outing any time of year.
This is the view from the lower end of Salamanca, looking up the hill towards Mt Wellington through the hustle and bustle. For a fifty year old telephoto, the Super Dynarex prime lens performs well. The detail recorded in the film scan of the distant antenna masts is very good.
Camera: 1959 Voigtländer Bessamatic 35mm SLR
Lens Voigtländer 135mm f/4 Super Dynarex telephoto
Film: Fujifilm Sensia 100 35mm transparency (Fujichrome)
Processing: Commercially processed in E-6 chemistry
