Good grief – I know this place. Fantastic shot of an icon. Am sending this on to my brother-in-law who’s an architectural conservationist with a particular interest in diners. He definitely will know this one; he’s based in Rhode Island, but he works in Auburn often, doing paint analysis at the William Seward House. Great to see this.

My bro-in-law says he’s eaten there many a time & was pleased with your photo. I think you got the perfect angle here, as did Gail, but your capture of the wall of ads is outstanding.
I’m glad he liked it. I was pleased with how a little bit of HDR contrast brought up the ads.
