Brittany Kinney
Profile
I am a 17 year old amateur photographer located in the suburbs of Pennsylvania, USA. I do a lot of digital work and manipulating in Adobe Photoshop 7.0 as well as Paint.
I am enrolled in PA Leadership Charter School’s Center for Performing and Fine Arts Traditional Black & White Darkroom Photography 1 class. I have so far learned how to develop film, make enlargements, ray-o-grams, contact sheets, pinholes and how to develop pictures in the darkroom with chemicals.
I have been involved in photography since I was about 14 years old and first started off with one digital camera, a Kodak EasyShare CX7300 (which now belongs to my younger brother). Since then, I have moved on to a Fujifilm Finepix S700 (digital with the features of a manual), FuljiFilm ST701 (traditional manual film camera) and a Polaroid One 600 Ultra (my newest addition to the “family”).
I enjoy doing portraits, candids and just regular street photography too. If you need a photographer at your next event, please visit my website and/or contact me or just BubbleMail me to book your shoot, event or any other thing where a photographer is needed!
- Note
I find it extremely irking when people assume that because I’m only 17 (or just “young”), I have no idea what I’m talking about in terms of photography and/or art. So please don’t waste your time if that’s what you’re here for. Otherwise, enjoy my portfolio! I’m open to constructive criticism and any comments or questions you might have.

Do You Know?
Always asking, never ceasing to compare, / We compare ourselves to those around us, / Revealing only what we want them to see.
One More Minute
It’s a lesson thats never new, nor never old. / Always preached, never practiced.

All of the sudden, I couldn’t believe what I saw before me.
Stealing Family Heirlooms
The coast was clear so I went for the gold…or, in this case, the plate…
Suddenly
My Mommom was to my right sitting on the couch with this glazed look on her eyes. I could tell she was happy to see me but something was just wrong…very wrong…
Merely a Snapshot
So many things are out there, calling for the camera…
