*Thys was a self portrait, it sucked. It looked like me in another world were cartoons are real, candy rains from the sky, kittens grow from trees, nobody dies, poops or gets sick. It had to go. *Thys is what i really wanted to paint when i thought of myself. I let a little of what was there show through, just as a memo to myself. a way of saying "this is how you might have been. *Thys is how i feel. Half the time i don’t know who i am or if what i stand for even matters. All i know is this feels right. *Thys is who i am….A little left of center.
somthing about this that i really love, you seem to have put that little bit of extra thought into what you were going to do, you have really went beyond the borders of art and reality, VERY well done!!!

lol! yaaaay! it WAS a self portrate that looked like me… but it looked like a polished preppy version of me. i hated it. it just kept staring at me from across the room, i hate self portrates. so i fixed it. now i don’t mind it’s staring so much.
