this was a self portrait, it sucked. it looked like me in another world were cartoons are real, candy rains from the sky, kittens grow from trees, nobody dies, poops or gets sick. Yeah it had to go. this is what i really wanted to paint when i thought of myself.
I let a little of what was there show through, just as a memo to myself. a way of saying “this is how you might have been.”
Dispite what ppl say thys is how i feel. half the time i don’t know who i am or what i stand for. all i know is this feels right. thys is who i am….a little left of center.
