Sunshine rays of yellow and gold…
The sun will play upon our minds
And dancing in the courtyard of a Shakespeare play
Where some obscure Scottish poet bowed and died
You have to say, only God knows what’s coming our way
When we play for rain, we are praying for sunshine
In the play for today, do we really know who is reading who’s line?
I will say "May God make it “Mine” !!!
Here today, and gone down the avenue
Where the oceans play and I’m always loving you
This time we’ll stay and count the illusions (upon the fast moving shadows of slow moving, small white clouds)
I will say “I’m laughing out loud” ….
And I will pray that they may hear that sound….
We can hope that never again may anyone cause her or himself or any other to fall down in some kind of pain….
We try to stay on or close to that line…
This whole plan may be so very very old…
But when I can’t see the sun or hear the caring whispers of my soul…
Let me love the illusion and never ever talk….about the cold.

A play is a good hidding from rain,

sunshine is there open for your imagination.
and besides that…
what is that need for talking about cold?
unless..one becomes suddenly aware that cold
has many advantages….
besides…being warm at a Shakespeare play..
one can stay in bed, the whole afternoon…
under soft cover beds..with a warm soul close…
and just…share some dreams and…well..something more.
Rosa (lovely writing…plentyful of tender feelings and a bit of humour too)
Hello Rosa, thank you very much for your lovely comments! This was written for a song, so it has some quirky humour…. and a little nonsense mixed into the feeling..
