Thanks Craig! I am a songwriter myself so these lyrics already have music to them. I’m making my album at the moment so I’ll let you know when it’s done. I write my songs on piano – this song has a bit of a Massive Attack feel with string arrangements and skeletal piano chords – so excited about it….

What music do you do?

Well, I am the opposite ;) I have lyrics written but no music to match ;) I write my lyrics with an Alternative Style in mind. Heavily influenced by The Cure, with more of the darker tones (more so than punk) that goes with their style. Spent some time in a recording studio with an Ex … so am excited to maybe one day get these lyrics matched with music and make an album. Might be a long ways off though!! I would LOVE to know when you have done the recording. I have a photo that is matched to Massive Attacks Teardrop!! I LOVE that song! :)

Hey Bridget… any news on when music will be available?
I’m looking for a song/singer/musician to mention in the 2nd episode of Wolf Hollow. I suspect the cd might get fried by the unicorns but that’s the perils of living in a fantasy world!

Hey Empress. Album will be finished in June, release planned for July. I’ll let you know dates when they’re finalised. Fried by unicorns? Now that is one thing I never thought would happen to me, but sounds interesting…..

Bridget – these lyrics are wonderful. For so long i have been meaning to sit down in a quiet spot for a while and read them. That way i can absorb them so much better.
I love this. I’m a big Bjork fan and am highly influenced by her filmclips. She’s romantic yet completely out there at the same time. I can see that kind of style suiting you. Especially after meeting you too!! Great stuff… i’m looking forward to the album. gem :)

Hi Bridget, just listening to a couple of your songs from your MySpace. Love your style, especially “On your own” – It should be on a Movie soundtrack!!! If I picked what music went with what part of a movie, I’d pick this song to be playing at the time when the story takes a positive learning turn! It matches so well!!!
