Fairytale gone mad by

Today I was in the mood of trying out some filters of my post processing software (PaintShopPro this is).
The steps to gain this image were wax crayons, contrast and brightness, infrared film, colouring with a yellowish tone, enhancing red, colouring the edges and outlines, again some contrast and brightness adjustment and finally the border with a brush that only darkens the brightness by some steps.
Now the image reminds of of a fairytale gone mad although the original image was taken yesterday on a lovely warm autumn (fall) day.

I hope you enjoy it. Feel free to leave comments and critiques, both are always welcome.

Original shot taken in September 2011 in northern Germany near Rotenburg / Wümme.
