I am up early and excited about the week end, my grandson is coming up and we will be having some fun. The beach is a ritual for Talyn and I, he does a lot of running, I do a lot of digging, we do a lot of laughing, I do a lot of running lol, then we go off to the ice cream shop and he gets a treat, then he usually says, “Poppy let’s go to the pub” and we stop in for one beer for me and a pink lemonade for him. Then we do a little cruise past his favourite shop in the world, the amazing 2nd hand toy shop up the road, thousands of stuffed toys, hundreds of trucks and tractors and all sorts of plastic fantastic toys and so cheap as well, then back home, more playing and he will want to watch Thomas or Bob, then up to the takeaway for some fish and chips, more playing, whew getting a bit tired now, then sometime around 9 tonight he will finally crash, wow, really getting tired now but who cares, I usually survive it, I crash, wake up in morning about 5.30, walk downstairs and usually get greeted by him all ready to do it again….......yahoo…......and during all of this, he will randomly walk over to me and give me a big cuddle and say “Poppy, I love you”, that just cracks me…........and I love him so much…..............simple
