We set out to capture a Hollywood Studio style glamour feel circa the late 1920’s or early 1930’s. Nicole is a wonderful model and an exceptionally sweet and intelligent woman. She studied enough vintage photographs of Louise Brooks, Greta Garbo and many other stars of the period, their expressions and the sense of drama that accompanied their photographs. I had a lot of fun recreating the more directional lighting methods used with this early equipment and finding just the right balance of directing and letting Nicole work with her character. Hopefully you will enjoy the results!
