PROBLEMS WITH RB - ANYONE ANY IDEAS?
We are aware that RB boffins are having a spot of bother trying to sort out double entries of submissions, and there also seems to be a problem of too many submissions not uploading first try.
My suspiciion now however is that while I upload an image which seems to have been accepted and is on view to me, it may be missing from other member’s pages. My lastest images got responses from some ‘faithful’ friends as usual, but on checking, other say the pictures didn’t appear to them. If there is such a problem then it might lead to us getting a little piqued and upset in not getting responses from friends which is the last thing we want.
Has anyone else found this to be the case or has an explanation?

I hope people dont get updet in not getting responses from friends. I personally put images up to sell, and if people comment great, but I neverget upset at people not responding as thats not why I uploaded them.
I also dont get time to post a comment oin all my friends images. I may love them but, unless I have spare time, I just dont get a chance to say so. Take it as read that I like yours though, havent seen one yet I didnt like LOL
I entirely agree Angel, we certainly shouldn’t become petty or bothered about getting less responses than hoped for. But I’m sure it can be puzzling for some. From what I’ve seen in response so far it looks like images are getting mislaid and reaching only a fraction of those on our watchlists.

I too have experienced this. I have had one or two people query why I didn’t comment on their work when I usually do. I’ve also uploaded pictures and had no response from people who normally respond. Incidentally, I had no response from you for my last six Journal entries. Neil commented on some, so he must be getting them. I don’t think you do bother with Journals though, do you, but this one should interest you. I have admired this Newcastle man’s work for a while.
Another confirmation – or at least a bit more evidence – of something amiss Dave. Regarding journals, I have to say that time spent on RB can run away with me and I’m trying to limit myself and give my best attention to hand-produced artwork.

you are on my watchlist as well, but I have not seen any new work lately…I must admit, I could have missed it because I just dont have the time to be on as much as I would like or used to be…. I try to go back and look at whats new, but its impossible to see it all….
I fully understand anyone not willing or able to comment on everything submited as it can be very time-taking and perhaps repetative. My aim with this enquiry is to try to see if stuff is reaching some members but not others. As I uploaded a couple of images in the last few days it seems there is a problem. I reported over 2 weeks ago a problem. It seems that I posted 3 works that were seen by the groups in selected, on my personal profile, but not by anyone who has me on their watchlist. I know this because after no responses I ask several close RB friends to go look. I did get a email reply that they were “working to fix the problem.” Who knows?
There you go Jim. It looks like suspicions are confirmed from the replies so far; there must be a spanner in the works. At least now we can’t be too concerned if we don’t get the hoped for respones after uploading items. I guess the next step is to inform RB office – but perhaps they are already aware of the problem.

I’ve been having the same problem, some friends have been notified of my new images and some haven’t……It would appear to be happening all over RB.
