The joy of inventing your own worlds is there are no rules and anything goes. The photo of this painting is rather poor and the original has long gone.

Plants producing gas? They do it all the time on Earth, but on this planet it’s conveniently packaged for harvesting. Just think, we could have our own greenhouse gasses feeding our boilers.

Acrylic on board.

    Wow, such imagination! Love this!

  • I’m taking tablets for it but not improving – the imagination still runs away with me.
    Many thanks Laura.

Whenever anyone mentions gasbags I will think of you … sorry .. I mean of this lovely painting :) I’ve always thought your space scenes are fantastically good. They combine your highly-developed artistic skills with your incredible imagination. They are literally out of this world :)

  • Why thank you Dave. You make me blush with embarrasment….but don’t stop.

I used to think gasbags were airproof trousers.

    Superb, Brian !!!
I get called a gasbag, for a variety of reasons, It has been said, I could help out with the national grid’s shortages !

  • I’m guessing at the various reasons, and as you don’t overdo the talking the that only leaves…. Remind me (verbally) to stand downwind. Thanks George and all the best for New Year.

This is amazing stuff. The concept, implementation and the depth of the image is fantastic.

  • Thanks Dave. I can’t remember selling this one but it has vanished – possibly in the loft. The photo turned out to be too dark and with harsh tones, and my efforts to computer ‘doctor’ it didn’t work too well. All just a bit of fun anyway.
