Again, this is one of our many castles in Northumberland – in this case on Holy Island rich in history. The boat is a coble which is common to the north east but many are out of use due to overfishing.

Excellent painting Brian, once again perfect composition and the positioning of the boat, pointing toward the castle, is great for leading the eye. It has a lovely fresh look to it. Well done.

We haven’t seen a mediocre painting from this gentleman yet … and I doubt we ever will. Excellent as usual.
