Something cropped up.

Who knows what we’ll find if (when) we eventually explore other worlds? Just imagine the cans of soup these mushrooms could supply.

Hey Brian, looks like you are having a ball. What have you been drinking.? come on share!!

  • Brian Towers replied

You guessed! Well I’ve got to get inspiration from somewhere, in this case it was the magic mushroom juice I used to wash down my medication. Just wait to see what my wife’s parnsip wine produced. Happy daze! Thanks for you kind comments.

Well Brian ,you know Zorind,he makes a beverage from dried out relatives,it really produces some weird art.
Almost as far out as yours!.

    AV

  • Brian Towers replied

Oddly, I go along with Zorind’s thoughts on this David. Macarbre as it seems, I think we waste an awful lot of protein in graveyards. I’d rather my aunt Gladys was well fed than the worms…albeit she doesn’t care for giblets. Recycle I say!

  • Brian Towers replied

PS. I see you are a member of the over 60s group AV. I thought you aliens lived to 283.4 years so I doubt you qualify.

  • AlienVisitor

    AlienVisitor

Yes,but I’ll be the longest standing member of that group, you could even say at 454 of your years, that I’m way over the hill, maybe the mountains too.!!!

Not bad either. Show us more space art! THX

  • Brian Towers replied

Hi Boris and thanks for your comments and favouring – from one space artist to another that is a compliment indeed. I guess I’ve got about 20 space pictures already on my pages, but most are burried on about pages 5 and 6. I’m beginning to get the urge again so there might be more coming up.

Your space works are full of action and colour not to mention imagination. What mediums do you use?

  • Lloyd Harvey

    Lloyd Harvey

That is, of course, if these particular mushrooms are edible. Fantastic and believable work.

  • Brian Towers replied

These fungus giants aren’t to be truffled with Lloyd, they’re magic. Many thanks.

  • Brian Towers replied

Thanks Syd, you’re a gem. Could have been worse, I was going to give them legs like Triffids but didn’t want to stretch the imagination too far.

  • Ingrid77

    Ingrid77

  • Carrie Potter

    Carrie Potter

love this one….when you think of alien life, gigantic mushrooms is not what would first come to mind… hilarious

  • Brian Towers replied

Thanks Carrie. Ah, but that’s the magic of inventing your own worlds, you can design anything you like, including oversized mushrooms. Great fun!

  • theyellowfury

    theyellowfury

    Giant mushrooms are always cool.

  • Brian Towers replied

Yep, mushrooms seem to be a regular in space art for some reason. Maybe they are easy to draw. Thanks.
