What’s unusual about this? Surely EVERYONE has seen the flying saucers at Stonehenge? I just love your imagination, Brian, and you make a nice cup of coffee too :-) Yes – a FAVOURITE!

Okay … maybe it’s just you who have seen the flying saucer at Stonehenge, but it looks as though it should be there. Brilliant work!

This reminds me, I just caught the end of Close Encounters last night, the part where all the small craft start flying around all over the place, before the big Mother shows up, yeah, I think you got this exactly right, maybe they were indulging in a little “crop circle graffitti” earlier, just for grins, eh?

  • Brian Towers replied

You’re spot on Syd, that picture came about by my being inspired by Close Encounters – I have it on disc and must have seen it ten times. I was particularly impressed with the space ships large and small and tried to capture some of those lighting effects. Great film! Many thanks my friend.

wow – fantastic!! And many congrats on your feature :-))))))

  • Brian Towers replied

Thanks Ingrid – that’s most kind of you. I occasionally get the urge to try another space scene between portraits, landscapes etc. I think I feel it coming on…...

It’s possible our “stone clock” was running a little slow, time for a tune-up!

  • Brian Towers replied

I once visited those stones. Very impressive bit of engineering for the time – some say it was impossible without ‘help’. I just think how that cheap digital watch I have does a better job, but it doesn’t exactily have the same attraction. I feel an urge to do another space scene.
