I’m not surprised – a bit like looking at the sun!
Superb detail, and colour blending work on this big puddy, Brian.

I’ve just started on portrait exercises this week!
    Maybe Puddys for the future.

  • Brian Towers replied

Thanks Colin. Portraits for your new project, great! While I find it the most demanding and least forgiving, it is also the most rewarding of subject….when it goes right. Hope to see the results soon. What medium are you using?

  • Colin Cartwright

    Colin Cartwright

Inevitably watercolour. It’s the only medium I’ve used since starting 18 months back. Pencil sketch copying from a book, and watercolour over it.

I’m starting basic pen and ink at class (only for a coupleof hours total) – but it’ll take a while to get anywhere with it.
