As a fine art landscape photographer I find myself seeking the very best of nature. From sunrise to sunset, our planet never fails to provide a canvas on which to paint with light (literal definition of photography, light-writing).
I can point back to the exact moment in time and space when I said, ‘I want to be a photographer.’ It was during my first visit to Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. I was standing in front of Palette Springs and thought I had been transported through a wormhole to another planet. I snapped a few images with my cell phone and my photography career was born. I rushed home, ordered a $700 camera off the internet, taught myself how to shoot, and 7 months later I was a full-time photographer.
Now, I am an advocate for preserving our natural environment. We only get one chance at this, so we need to get it right the first time. Please join with me to save as much of this natural beauty as we can. Over 20% of my annual profits are donated to various conservation charities.
