Last weekend I wondered over the East Side to check out Waverley Cemetery. This is probably one of the most incredible cemeteries in Sydney. Sitting up high on the cliffs overlooking the ocean, it is spectacular.
The tombstones and monuments are also incredible…. Photographing in a cemetery might be be everyones cup of tea, but it is wonderful from a composition perspective, wonderful interesting things to photograph everywhere.
Agree that it’s a great place to meditate, read some sad and interesting stories and, of course, find shots like this. Never been to this cemetery, but it looks like a good place to rest when it’s over. It’s like an army watching over the ocean.
