Ghost Cove # 2 by Brent Pearson

Ghost Cove # 2 by

This is another in my Ghost Cove series of images. They are all ultra-long expsosure images taken of the coastline before dawn. The water is totally blurred due to the long exposure and you are left with ghostly images of rocks emerging from a kind of ghostly mist.

The images were converted with a sepia split-tone.

This image is taken of the rocks at Turimetta beach on the North shore of Sydney

Brilliant feel in this work…its haunting, it tells a mysterious story, I’m waiting for a ghost ship to rise from the mist…the sepia works really well, I just love the space that stretches out before us…
