Monavale Rocks by

Went out to Monavale Pool… a location I have photographed quit a lot. On this particular day the seas were pretty calm and the tides were perfect to allow you to walk right up to the edge of the rock shelf past the pool…. thats how I got this photo that looks as if I am in the water.

Used a 3 stop ND plus a 3 stop GND.

Loving my new camera.

Great work Brent, love the effect the slow speed has given to the ocean

Gorgeous light and colours. What type of camera is it (your new camera)? Well done.

  • Hey Elana

My new camera is a Nikon D700. This shot was taken with a 17-35mm lens which I love.

    Thanks for your kind words

    Brent

What a dreamy, whipped up sight! The new ND 700 is great (I borrowed my husband’s) but sticking to my Leica Digilux 3!
