This is a seascape that is using a new technique that I am playing with. I call it “Shutter Blending”… you can read more about it on my blog http://brentbat.blogspot.com
Basically it is a composite of 3 images. The splash and the wave lapping at beach are high speed shots (1/125 sec), and in between I have sandwiched them between a a 30 second shot (taken with a 10stop ND filter).
I’m having fun experimenting with this technique… more examples on my blog for any geeks that are interested ;-)

excellent idea Brent.. well done. with my 10 stop I find a slight colour shift towards red. Are you finding this as well. ?
Hi Matt
No, my B&W filter doesn’t appear to have a cast at all. What make of filter are you using?
