Martian Rocks

Brent Pearson

Martian Rocks

This shot was taken in a gorgeous place called Spoon Bay. A wonderful feeling of remoteness to it even though it’s only a 10 min hike down a track.

The rocks are gorgeous (that is if you are like me and love rocks and textures). The rock is a green sandstone (haven’t seen this colour anywhere else) and the sand is a deep golden colour.

I took this photo because Ioved the contrasts in colours, textures and the movement of the sea in the middle of it all.

For anybody that likes Photoshop, if you are interested in how I processed this image, I did a step-by-step tutorial in my blog. You can find my blog here

Enjoy

love the contrast between the sand & rocks, ( don’t think you need most of the sea as the sand colour with the rocks is enough )

Your work is stunning. I envy you where you live. I too live by the coast but unfortunately it doesn’t have the great scenery your coast has. Just brown seas and grey skies. I look forward to flicking through your work.
