Pittwater Sunrise
OK… Now I do believe in Karma!
I sat in traffic on Friday night with storms around me and witnessed a truly gorgeous dramatic sunset. Frustrated that I was in traffic rather than the beach I thought it wasn’t fair to witness a stunning sunset without an opportunity to photograph it.
Saturday morning I popped out to Pittwater around 4:30am and found there were some dramatic storm clouds around, but the colour was pretty flat…. Then all of a sudden just as the sun was starting to peek over the horizon, the light went really weird…. it was like an orange/pink colour and had a very unusual quality about it. The sky was half storm cloud and half clear.
So I missed a great sunset, but I was rewarded with a gorgeous sunrise instead.

Well done Brent!v Love the explanation! I can totally relate. I got up at 5am yesterday in Melbourne-and headed to a spot I thought would be great only to see the sun rise gloriously about a kilometre away.
