Splash
This is a seascape that is using a new technique that I am playing with. I call it “Shutter Blending”... you can read more about it on my blog http://blogspot.brentbat.com
Basically it is a composite of 3 images. The splash and the wave lapping at beach are high speed shots (1/125 sec), and in between I have sandwiched them between a a 30 second shot (taken with a 10stop ND filter).
I’m having fun experimenting with this technique… more examples on my blog for any geeks that are interested ;-)

Hi Matt
No, my B&W filter doesn’t appear to have a cast at all. What make of filter are you using?

Amazing effect 10 stop ND must be completely black. Must be like those peril sensitive sunglasses that go completely black at the first sign of trouble in the hitchhikers guide to the galaxy ;-)
