    The movement in the sky is just superb…nice angle too…was that 3 minute exposure ISO200…around f/5.6 ?

    Hey Simon

    Yes, it was f5.6 @ ISO200. For night photography I always use ISO200 because the noise is not distinguishable from ISO100, but it halves the time… Quality is still very good. If you got to ISO400 you really start seeing some noise.

    Regarding focus, yes, I use manual focus (I shine a bright torch on the subject to help me focus, and then I leave it.).

    A 3 minute exposure!! The results are amazing!! This is a fascinating perspective and with this long exposure I love the rich red colour of the nose.
