Cheezy Sunrise
Yeah yeah yeah…. Another cliche sunrise shot.
However for me this one was pretty special. I was perched out on a beautiful granite outcrop in the Bay of Fires Tasmania about 40 min before dawn. There was a bit of light in the sky, but essentially it was almost dark.
I shot this 4.5 min exposure and the camera picked up a lot of hidden colours in the sky.
Needless to say, when the “real” sunrise did come about 20 min later it was spectacular.
However I like the subtlety of this shot more.

There is lots of beauty in pastels and you have proved it. Time exposure has given a lovely effect to this image. I would love to get to Bay of Fires one day!

I also know of this outcrop, as I photographed it myself several years ago…pity it rained for my days there though. These soft pastel colours in yours are beautiful !
