I have just returned to live in Darwin after spending 7 years in my home town of Adelaide. The warm weather called and we answered.

Originally I trained to be an art and design high school teacher however followed a different path into the field of disability and employment. After 20 years in this field I found myslef craving artistic pursuits.

A great lady in Darwn shared with me her love for mosaic and that’s how it all began. I gave up my day job “so to speak” to give myself some time to see where the mosaic’s would take me.

In addition I have been able to spend some valuable time with my kids, and have enjoyed watching my daughter AshleighS explore her new camera – thanks nanny Chijude. My youngest begins school this year 2010 so have been able to grab the last moments of his pre-school life. What a lovely time I am having.

I am currently working on my portfolio of mosaics – designed to be outdoor art, and will be launching a website to assist with my marketing. Stay tuned – I am very excited :)
