Blue Mountain
I wrote this about Sherbrooke Forest in the Dandenong Ranges, Victoria.
I originally wrote it to go with a series of photos I had framed for my partner who grew up in the area.
It really is a beautiful place and and you can lose yourself in time in there.

Through seasons
pass the wombat’s lair,
And carry the mimic
of the lyrebird’s call,
‘Neath the canopy
of this forest tall.
