Nothing more, Nothing less

Let the light of my world shine in
For i want to be moved, i want remission
Kick me again, push me away
For only my solitude gives me hope
Nothing more, nothing less
Just me and my body, my being
Only half lazy, half driven
But niether stirrs my senses
Not even the pull of gravity awakes my ignorance
No, only i have the choice
Just like anyone in this world
Just like the machines of basic complex
Yes or no, try or don’t try
That is the boolean i am faced with
The day is soon upon me
And again i ask myself the same questions
But there is only ever one thing i can do
And that is to make an effort
For nothing happens by luck, by fate nor by divine intervention
I will either make myself, or fail trying
Nothing more, nothing less
And there will lie the essence to my being
