This is a self portrait I had to draw of myself in my drawing 1 class I took in the fall of 2007. I think it looks a loy like my other than the lips… but my boyfriend thinks the drawing looks like a native american boy… so I will let you decide. I look very mad in this.. but I wasn’t at all.. just focused :) I used black and white chalk pencils to draw this one.
Not sure about the Nat Am Indian thing – you’d have to half close your eyes and turn the light out for that I think. It’s a great drawing – wish I could come even close to drawing to your standards
I think this is a brilliant portrait. Love the softness in it. And did a great job giving volume to the face. Light and shades are very good and the eyes are so very much alive. Great work.
