Old Faithful is a cone geyser located in Yellowstone National Park in Wyoming. It Erupts about every hour and a half, eruptions can shoot 14 – 32000 litres of boiling water to a height of 30 – 56m and lasting up to 5 minutes.

    10.30 at night, I was just lucky some other people had choosen to watch it at this time to and used there torch.

    Thanks, just remeber to bring a torch if you do it, otherwise hope it it goes off at the exact right time, this one was a little to late, but luckly some one else had brought a torch.

    well i took the photo at about 10pm, um and some other person that i didn’t know had a torch(next time i will remember to bring a torch, was hoping not to need one but it worked out anyway) and i left the shutter open for pretty much the length of the eruption.
