Kindred Spirits

There is a thread unseen, I fancy it gleams
Like it’s water woven of silvery streams.
Within our souls we know its emboldened glow,
Silvery light that brightens with bonds as they grow.

And if at times the distance causes us pain,
Becoming lonesome ache of heartstrings that drain,
We can lean back on silvery strings that sooth,
Our minds be comforted in the strength of truth.
