I would really love to hear thoughts on this because I’m not sure how I feel about it. It was interesting creating it because I didn’t originally plan it to come out like it did (like most Everything I do). Feedback is welcome…
to be honnest its a nice pic but in my opinion i would of left it all black and white
Thanks for your honesty, I should have posted the b&w and full color version for comparison, it’s a stark difference, actually pretty hard to tell the wings are on fire with the black and white.
I love the Flaming wings, and I appreciate the “Feather Flames” falling from the wing, nice detail. The composition has a real sense of dark hope somehow.
Thank you joe, especially for your attention to detail, I wasn’t sure at first if it was noticeable. :)
I am extremely intrigued with this image. I think it is composed really well but I would like to say I like the Fire but with the rest of the image in Black and White the fire really takes away from your intent. I would assume that the “Thunder” in this image is not the fire, rather an idea of regretful failure or mistaken step, I think that the Fire being in colour is too abrupt. But really this is an awesome image full of much to consider in the way of sorrow and regret regardless of whether you change it I think it is a wonderful creation of inspired imagery
I really appreciate you giving a thorough analysis of this image, that’s exactly what I was hoping for. I was hoping someone would pick up on my intent (which was interpreted in so many ways), I like that you used the phrase ‘regretful failure’ because that really does give some insight to where I was heading. Thanks so much for taking the time to comment :D

Brilliant creation … the cross, the birds, the fire, the story it tells, the title. If it was mine I’d be ecstatic
Aww, thanks so much Bob, appreciate the comment :D
