Autumn in the Tundra by

We hit the first full Fall day when driving through the Taiga and Tundra in Alaska . This area has permafrost all year round; the low scrub is made up from many berried bushes and the fir trees are stunted. We drove inland towards a viewpoint to see Mt McKinley. There is only one road restricted to Park vehicles which take you westwards.
