Three Prophecies
Acrylic on Stretched Canvas.
“During her many appearances to the children, “Our Lady” bestowed upon them three prophecies. The first two were disclosed by Lucia dos Santos, the eldest of the three children, after she wrote them down in the early 1940s, but the third and final prophecy was not to be revealed until 1960. Well, 1960 came and went, and the third prophecy was not revealed because the Vatican said the world was not quite ready for it. This reluctance to disclose the secret lead to speculation among the faithful that it contained information about our future that was so horrific that the Pope dared not reveal it. Perhaps it foretold a nuclear war… or the end of the world…...”extract from ‘The Fatima Prophecies.’

TaniaLosada
yes, i love them cuz i paint a little… but my oil paintings are so bd that i’ll never show them! lol
BradThurston replied
Get those paintings out there!!! I am self taught and even though I do sell alot of my art, I doubt my abilities everyday. I think every artist doubts his/her abilities and remember what one person hates, another will love! I don’t think we can grow as artists if we are not critical of our own works….It makes me want to be a better artist everyday. I like to say to people that “I just throw the paint onto the canvas” there really is nothing special to what I do! Take a chance and show us some of those oil paintings.

Can we take those Prophecies to heart or is this another form of fear that is aimed at turning us to stone?

No fear….No stone….just hope! Thanks sbc7 for your comment.
