I love your work, The colors work so perfectly and the movement you created is fantastic. Great composition with interesting shapes and sizes and love the way you created imaginary lines to make the eye move around the painting and back to the center. Excellent.
Deborah….your comments are too kind. I don’t think this painting took me long at all, probably an hour or so. I very rarely have any idea of what I will produce when I stand before a blank canvas. I just put paint on canvas until I like what I see or my harshest critic (my wife) says it’s time to stop, “You’ll over work it”
Thank you Zefira for your interest and kind comments. This is one of my favourites and as such I was sorry to see it go when it was purchased. Because most of my art comes within the moment of painting, I haven’t really done anything similar.
banrai…thank you for your kind comment. This has been one of my more commented on canvasses and I love that you think it is brilliant. Your feedback is always welcome.
Another favorite Brad! Perfect title for an amazing work : ) I love the little surprise of yellow pouring at the bottom. It also looks somewhat musical to me. The bottom black and left bottom white shapes make me think of grand pianos. Perhaps “The Wind Symphony.”
Lynn…I’ve had a great response to this canvas. The great thing about art is that it can be interpretated in so many ways and I love that you see music as it makes the canvas more uplifting.
