Brad Robson

Sydney, AUSTRALIA

A passionate dreamer with unique gifts for producing creative across multiple media, Brad Robson creates expressive images unhindered by any particular influences, more stimulated by the wide world around him. He does though tend to have a natural affinity with the quirky, the possible, the forgotten and forlorn, as much as the absurd. His line and brush work form spontaneously wherever he paints – his images rise and flow without the artist knowing exactly where they came from.

“If we had no imagination, the world wouldn’t be worth living in.” ~ Brad Robson

He’d like to think the viewer might use their own imagination when looking at his art – that the viewer is involved in the creative process too. He believes his images carry a viewer into a new world of no limitations and untapped possibilities. The marks between the frames might not look like the normal world, yet there’s still Laws that govern and hold aesthetically true and are there to be broken, explored and played with.

Brads mediums of choice are as diverse as digital, canvas, timber and street walls and pavements. He’s also worked extensively in advertising and marketing – Brad’s art work is a contrasting escape from his more directed work in the media communications industry.

I hope people enjoy my artwork and can take a little bit of something different, something special away with them to cherish in their very particular own way.
