Whilst home visiting my parents in East Texas, I made it out of the house one morning to photograph an old house turned barn that I noticed with my Dad when driving from Henderson to Carthage, the town where I grew up. I really wish I had gotten up earlier to photograph the old rural icon, before the sun had risen and there was still some low morning mist and fog. Well, I did manage to get this lovely shot as the sun was rising in the sky… the shadow being really heavy as I was shooting into the sun. This shot turned out better than I had expected. This is a HDR image from a single RAW image using Photomatix 4 Pro for Mac.
Original RAW image: Canon EOS-1Ds Mark ll 28-300mm IS zoom lens (@ 300mm) 1/320 f/5.6 ISO 100
Thank you greatly Leanna. It sure is, but the ground was drenched and the gate was locked so my shots came from this side of the fence. I didn’t want to risk getting shot at for trespassing… LOL! I appreciate the compliment.
