My work takes me all over the UK, but often it leads me through Derbyshire (my old stomping ground). On one occasion, as I was travelling through the picturesque Derbyshire town of Bakewell, I happened upon this view of it, with the church prominently rising above the trees. The foliage showing a hint of Autumn colour. I knew that I couldn’t stop right then as i was under a tight schedule, so I decided to try my luck at the weekend. Wonderfully, it was just as good as the other day when I first eyed it. This view is one I had never seen of Bakewell, but will now frequent when I am in the area. There is so much I love about this shot. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do. Please view larger and bask in it’s “autumness” (and if it isn’t a word, it should be….)

What a wonderful capture Bradley….I could just keep on staring at it and see something more because it just seems to go on and on. This surely would make a fantastic jigsaw puzzle.
