This summer we had opportunity to stay with some close friends in the small Shropshire town of Clun where they run a Bed & Breakfast. What a lovely time we had, not only because we were staying with them, but also because my wife and I were doing so KID FREE. The grandparents were kind enough to have our two boys, whilst our daughter was away for a week at a camp. We seized our moment. The town of Clun is a very cosy community, and in size is more like a small village. Every where you turn you find a smiling face and a warm hand outstretched in a friendly welcome. At the heart of this town is the beautiful river Clun and this old pack horse bridge. I was moved by this idyllic scene. It was like stepping back in time.
