This is another lovely view of the junction King William street and Cornhill road, at the statue of Wellington, when friend and fellow RedBubbler George Parapadakis and myself visited London for the first Face2Face UK meet. This is a bit wider view taking in the the Royal Exchange building (behind the iconic London black cab), the Bank of England museum, and the former London Stock Exchange building (the tall one in the background). The shadows were very heavy in the area so a clean shot was virtually impossible, which is why I chose to shoot for a HDR image. Both the Bank of England museum and the Royal Exchange are Grade 1 listed buildings.
This is a (hand held) HDR image combining 3 bracketed shots using Photomatix Pro for Macs. Adjustments in lighting and contrast were made using the enhanced details tool.
