This Photo is straight from the camera, and stands AS IS!
At our recent Face 2 Face meet in London, the first of of many meets I hope, we were asked to assemble near the Sir John Betjeman statue carrying a red ballon. Once we were all gathered together, we decided to take a photo standing around the statue of the great man. “Sir John Betjeman was responsible for saving both the St Pancras chambers and the station from demolition in the 1960s. In tribute to the famous poet and railway lover, an 8 1/2ft sculpture by Martin Jennings has been designed to stand at platform level to celebrate the man and his poetry.” We decided it would be good to give Sir John his own red ballon, making him an honourary Redbubbler, since Redbubble is about the creative arts and artists. In the distance, behind the statue you can see the famous St. Pancras clock, which has been reconstructed by the original makers Dent.
