This is the well known Limetree Avenue at Clumber Park, in Nottinghamshire, England.
It continues for about 3 miles, and is over 170 years old. Limetree Avenue is the longest of its kind in Europe and still provides the majestic feel of entering a grand ducal estate. You’re greeted by a spectacular display, whatever time of year you visit, whether in springtime with the new buds appearing, or summers shady blanket or green, but it is especially nice (in my honest opinion) with the warm copper toned autumnal months. Clumber park is looked after by the National Trust organisation.
